Italy trip part 2 イタリア旅行 パート２

(sounds like I am saying "bye bye Capri" but I am saying "bye bye NAPOLI"
that is how they say in Italian.)

* June 23rd (Mon.) Naples to Capri Island

7:35 am took a ferry to Capri Island. (10 euro X 2/ 90 min.)
9:00 am Arrived in Capri Island
Ate breakfast at Bar Grotta Azzurra right by the boat dock. (25 euro!)
went to Faro to swim. Super nice. (1.40 x 4)
Dinner at Restorante Barbarossa (23 euro)

Took a tiny tiny bus to Anacapri side, arrived at hotel. (1.40 euro x 2)
Stayed at Hotel Bussola Di Hermes (95 euro x 2 nights)
Went to FARO by bus. (swam and ate lunch there)
Slept 4 hours then dinner at Ristorante Barbarossa (in Anacapri) (23 euro)





So we got up early morning to get on a ferry to go to Capri. It was right by our hostel, but a bit hard to find since there were so many boats on the dock...we made it 5 min. before the departure...good job! Since we left early morning, we did not eat anything so I wanted to eat something when I got to Capri before we got on a tiny bus. We ate at a little cafe at the dock, ordered Lasagna, Mozzarella sandwich and two small bottles of water. And it costed us 25 euro!
That is almost like $40 for our breakfast! The small water bottle was $6 each. CRAZY Capri!
Anyways...



so the bus here in Capri is super tiny because the roads are very narrow. We looked at the line, and wondered if we would make it to the bus. (or have to wait another 30 min?) Thankfully, we were almost the last people to get on the bus. We made it to Anacapri side. (there are two sides in Island of Capri. Capri side and Anacapri side.) So, I had a direction to go to our hotel from the bus stop. It said 5 min. from the bus station... WRONG! It took us 15-20 min. to get there.

I read 60% good review and 40% of not so good review about this hotel, so I decided to bring a box of macadamia nuts chocolates for the owner. It's a small, family owned place so I just wanted to have a good relationship while we stay there. Plus I was emailing her 20+ times before we got there, and felt like I knew her. Sure, she loved our little souvenir and gave us free AC for two nights. (normally you have to pay extra 20 euro ($30) for that.) Nice. (but for some reason they don't turn on the AC until 5:00pm on the first day. We were dying in the heat...)

After settled down, we took a bus to go to Faro where the beautiful light house was. You can swim at the beach. (rocky beach...no sand at all.) It was super hot and water was so cold...so that was nice. We were told to see sunset from there, but since sunset it like 8:30pm, we decided to go home and took 4 hours nap. (john is jumping off from the rock.)




The owner recommended us to eat this restaurant in Anacapri and we ordered margherita pizza and seafood homemade pasta. It was so delicious. and price was cheaper than our crazy breakfast!
Since Anacapri is on the mountain top side, we got to see beautiful night view of Napoli (Naples) from the island. What a romantic night for us...:)




Again, our second day was perfect.



６月２３日（月）
７時３５分のフェリーでカプリ島へ。９０分とあったけど１時間ちょっとで到着。　天気も良いのでうきうき。カプリ島は初めてだし、青の洞窟にどうしても行きたかったのでテンションあがるー！！！着いてすぐフェリーのドックで朝食。ラザニアとモッツァレラチーズ、ハムのサンドイッチを頼む。プラス水のボトルを２本（小さいやつ）はい、トータル２５ユーロ。４０００円位？？？ 　水一本６５０円くらいでした。恐るべしカプリ島よ…。


小さなバスに乗ってアナカプリへ。カプリは道が極端に狭いのでバスもかなり小さいです。ぎゅーぎゅーに詰まったバスに乗って２０分くらいかな？途中バスが事故にあうと２５回位思いました。でも目的地のバス停に無事到着。そこからホテルまで歩きます。 ホームページにはバス停から５分って書いてあったけど…、２０分くらいかかりました。カプリの人間はそんなに早足なのか？？？　猛暑の中のスーツケースをかかえながらの２０分は辛い。でもカプリだから嬉しい。


着いたらお部屋も用意できていました。綺麗な場所で安心。オーナーにチョコレートのお土産を持っていったら喜んでくれました 部屋の窓を開けたら２匹の大きな羊がいてびっくりしました。


その後バスに乗ってFaroという灯台のある所に泳ぎに行きました。（今、灯台っていう日本語が３分くらい出てこなかった。ヤバいです。）そこでホテルの近くで作ってもらったサンドイッチを食べて、泳いで楽しかった。ビーチといっても砂のビーチではなくて岩から飛び込むという感じでした。猛暑なので冷たい水がとてもとても気持ちよかった！ 日焼けもたくさんしちゃいました。


ディナーはアナカプリでマルゲリータピザとシーフードホームメイドパスタを食べて、アナカプリの山の上からナポリの夜景を見て楽しみました。 ああああ、楽しぃ。


明日はお楽しみの青の洞窟です。
