Bob and Libby ボブとリビーの訪問

First night...

Bob and Libby were John's sponsor parents at the Academy. They have sponsored midshipmen since 1971. Just an amazing couple...Bob was fighting cancer these past 2 years and now they are taking a month long road trip from Annapolis, and we were able to have them for two nights at our house. (10/12-14) It was so much fun spending time with them, listening to what the Lord has taught them over the years...Here are some pictures with them.

ジョンがアメリカ海軍士官大学に行っていた頃、教会でいつもお世話をしてくれていたホストファミリーの様な人たちがいました。１９７１年から海軍の士官候補生たちのホストをしているとても素敵なご夫婦、ボブさんとリビーさんが２泊遊びにきてくれました。ボブさんはこの２年間癌の治療をしていたのですが、だいぶ元気になったのでこの一ヶ月でアメリカの色んな所を車で旅行しています。神様がどんな風に知恵を与えてくれた事や色んな事お話を聞けてとても楽しかったです。

but still had to eat some sweets at Ghirardelli!!! あんなに食べたのにまだデザート！！！
