Conversation with Kawika
We learned about Lazarus last night.
Today we read a book about a dog's life. He died eventually but the little boy felt a bit better because he told the dog every night "I love you forever and ever!" (Sam's translation was "I love you all the time and all the time!" ずっとずっと大好きだよ)
When a little boy had to bury the dog, Sammy said, "Mom! It's like Lazarus! He is going to the tomb!"
(I was thinking. Yes! But this dog is not going to come out!)
And he said that night,
S: "Mommy, grandpa (my Dad) is with Jesus?"
Me: yes, he is with Jesus.
S: so just like Lazarus! Grandpa is with Jesus! They are in heaven!
Well, that made me smile.
I love my Sammy boy. :)
